My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Japanese cookery session with Kazuko, gifted to us as a Christmas present. The whole evening was engaging, educational, fun and most of all the food was absolutely delicious. Kazuko is a great hostess and teacher, deeply knowledgable about Japanese food, nutrition and health. Kazuko is such a warm lovely presence and it was a joy to invite her into our home and to have her share the magic of creating sushi! She is a beautiful teacher and worked so well with the children. It really was a wonderful experience and I now feel confident I can cook sushi for my family, and have the children help me alongside too! Thank you Kazuko for a wonderful few hours. Kazuko is the loveliest lady, so easy to talk to and learn from. Her knowledge is extensive and we really appreciated her given us information on the source of the ingredients too as we’d love to make the dish again. The food was delicious, and beautifully presented in her authentic Japanese China bowls. Kazuko’s cooking lesson was truly insightful. Her explanations of the health benefits of Japanese cuisine, both physically and mentally, clearly showed her passion and understanding.

As a young person, I am especially grateful that Kazuko could share her knowledge with me. I’m sure I’ll carry it with me for a lifetime and use it to make lasting healthy decisions.

Not to mention, the food was incredible! The homemade miso paste was like nothing I had ever tasted and each of the other ingredients was carefully selected and valued.

Kaz came over and my wife and I did a maki sushi lesson. So much knowledge was shared of how to make amazing sushi rolls.
The starter, sushi we made, and dessert were all out of this world!
All the ingredients and condiments were top quality, and we will definitely be doing another course in the future.
Made for a fantastic date night, in the comfort of our own home.
