We had told her in advance that we were particularly fond of prawn tempura rolls. We arrived to find that she had devised a perfect recipe for them, despite never having eaten one in her life. My partner and I attended the "miso 3 ways" class this weekend and found it fun & informative and we came away with some very tasty food. The small group size was perfect and the recipe card for re-creating the recipes at home is a great addition. Myself and my husband spent a lovely and relaxing couple of hours with Kaz learning to make Miso Ramen. We learned lots about Japanese cooking ingredients, culture and the health benefits of different foods at the same time as creating a delicious meal. I recently attended a Japanese gyoza making class with my mum and sister, and it was an incredible experience! We received vouchers for the class as a gift for our birthdays, and it turned out to be one of the best presents ever. Our host, Kaz, was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hands-on experience was fantastic, allowing us to get involved and really understand the art of crafting the perfect gyoza. We learnt how to make the dough, create the fillings, and fold the gyoza in various traditional styles. The ingredients provided were fresh and of high quality, and the end result was mouth-watering. After making 20 gyozas each, we sat down to enjoy some of them alongside a lovely pudding prepared by Kaz. We got to take the rest of our gyozas home to share with our loved ones, along with detailed instructions so we could recreate the experience in our own kitchen. This gyoza making class was a perfect blend of learning, laughter, and delicious food. It was a wonderful bonding experience for my mum, sister, and me, and we left with not only new culinary skills but also cherished memories.
